Conceptual Photography | 6 weeks

This is a creative course for the imaginative photographer, outlining the objectives and requirements of stock and illustrative photography. Conceptual photography challenges the photographer to make photographs with subjects (living or non) in ways that strongly illustrate a concept. For instance, the instructor might say, "Illustrate the word DREAM." The class would learn how to envision concepts and gain technical, theoretical, and practical means to actualize those concepts or keywords. During this class, you will learn how to express your point of view through your photographic vision, turning words into visuals. You will be given new topics from week-to-week and learn to illustrate those topics. The instructor will teach you step-by-step how to turn a topic into a image through the art and science of conceptualization.
