Intro to Studio | 6 weeks

The instrudtor will teach you the nuts and bolts of studio ligting in plain English. You will learn different studio light techniques and know which lighting combination is best for your subject. Daunting tasks, such as lighting ratios, will be made simple. Quick solutions for complex problems will be discussed and you will tearn how to avoid making things more difficult than they need to be. By course completion, you will breeze through studio and subject setup while producing the most flattering portraits every time.

Prerequisite: Introduction to digital photography or equivalent

Who Should Attend: Level Two

Equipment: Digital SLR or film camera with flash hot shoe. If you are using a film camera, be prepared to provide digital files of your film negatives. No point-and-shoot cameras please.

Level I.
For beginners and those who want to refresh their basic skills. You will gain a good foundation in photographic fundamentals.

Level II. For those with a basic understanding of photographic fundamentals and equipment. You will gain expertise in more advanced applications.

Level III. For photographers who have demonstrated photographic skills. You will concentrate on specific technical aspects and creative approaches.
