Photojournalism | Photo 205 - 6 weeks

You will learn to tell a story with less than 20 photographs.  This intermediate photojournalism course will advance your technical skills and introduce innovative tools to enhance your craft.  You will be given an initial review of your existing work, which will be used as a platform for the duration of the course.  Story assignments will be given every week based story-telling progression.  These assignments will force you out of your comfort zone and into true photojournalism mode.  By course completion, you will be confident in your ability to choose good story subjects, document uncontrolled action and edit story images.

Equipment: SLR camera - digital or film(only if they can provide scanned digital files on class night)

Student Levels

Level I.
For beginners and those who want to refresh their basic skills. You will gain a good foundation in photographic fundamentals.

Level II. For those with a basic understanding of photographic fundamentals and equipment. You will gain expertise in more advanced applications.

Level III. For photographers who have demonstrated photographic skills. You will concentrate on specific technical aspects and creative approaches.
