Originally an art major in college he became a graphic designer shortly after and persude his career in the advertising world. Along the way he noticed the photographers were his favorite artist to work with and was instantly jealous of the work they produced. He became a self taught photographer studying every aspect of the field.
Upon leaving the advertising worlds of Miami, Atlanta and Charleston he took a job at the Medical University of South Carolina as the art director and photographer. He soon began documenting medical cases following the patients and their families through the emotional roller coasters they indoor during the treatment and healing processes. Some of his photographs are images that most people will never see but occur on a daily basis though out the medical world. These images show the human spirit in it's moments of vulnerability and incredible strength.
Beyond the scope of shooting medical documentaries and surgery, he also shoots for a variety of commercial clients, personal projects and publications.
